Always try to find out in advance if at any time your instrument has been repaired using water soluble glue, as it always rains on buskers (in the UK at any rate) and there's nothing quite so scary as watching your beloved instrument coming apart. (not that playing in the rain does them any good at all, but sometimes you don't get packed up fast enough.)
