Just talked with Karen and she asked that I get on the line and let you know that Pat is off the vent and they have actually had him from bed to chair and back and are talking about taking him out of ICU as soon as tomorrow. This can only be the result of the good thoughts and prayers that his mudcatters have sent his way through Cyberspace. Pat had written a whole page that he wanted posted to you but Karen had configure problems at the computer tonight and couldn't get on the net. Karen is very tired and the fact that she couldn't get on the net was sort of the last straw in a long and frantic week.

I am flying back up for the weekend and will check tomorrow and if Pat is able, I will take my laptop to him so that he can get back to mudcatting. Of course, he will have to get back to the PC really fast because when I let loose of the laptop, I tend to go into withdrawal in a real hurry (like in about 30 seconds).
