I know Carrl Myriad quite well - and often hear him sing at my local folk club (The Loaded Dog, < http://www.loadeddog.live.com.au/ >) a 10-minute walk from my home. I have the CD ... and Ragged Band have been booked in various gigs by the agency operated by my wife Patricia!

Carrl gets his Cornish right because he has formally studied (his ancestral lnaguage) under a Professor of Cornish Language. He is very keen on, and proud of his Celtic (not necessarily the same thing as Irish) ancestry ... Now as long as you can get used to him looking a bit like a life-sized, older version of Asterix (of the French Goscini & Uderzo [~] comics) ... !
