tsk, tsk, tsk! using the thread to send a PM! Tell yer darlin' G'pa sends his love and thanks for the info on Jack's. We used to live near there (at Scott and Waller, before you were born) and Jack's is still at the original location, Scott and Page! Amazing!

Next time I'm out to 'Frisco, I'll be sure to take a trip there. Jack's used to have a couple of records featuring an obscure Milwaukee jazz violin player name of Ted Meisenheimer. He was listed on a Decca recording, "Royal Garden Blues" by Jack Teagarden. Maybe Jack's still has that 78 recording!
