Thread Name: BS: For Ladies Only
Subject: RE: BS: For Ladies Only
I think presuming to know another person's intent and feelings, and to redefine what they have to say for them, because they are "on eggshells" or whatever, is pretty rude, utterly offensive in a discussion. More offensive than any word, however tarnished. It reveals a bully, or a would-be bully, and so it's perfectly fair it call it anti-social. Especially when they sign their remarks, and one doesn't.

If men are to blame for offensive content, why should it be a ladies only thread? I was hoping to hear what and how people felt about these threads and references, to consider if I was at fault--but this rudeness is appalling. Is there a more personal attack possible than to presume to re-define another's opinions? How?

Guest says he/she/it can percieve such things as other's intentions and sub-texts, but I can tell, really means something so unspeakably filthy... think of the dirtiest thing you've ever heard of. Okay, it's still a little dirtier than that. Best leave it for smart Freudians to intuit.
