Surely one of the most beautiful song with one of the stupidest lyrics ever. Makes no sense. She doesn't have to "try" to tell him, plead or write letters, just say: "HE'S MY BROTHER, YOU DOPE". Why didn't she just write, "HE'S MY BROTHER" on a big card and dangle it in front of him? On the other hand, if she is kissing her brother the way lovers can, maybe he was well out of it.
