I have an old Bb fakebook that gives some chords, but unfortunately doesn't have the lyric; so I can't tell how they fit together. For the Bb instruments, it's scored in F (one flat) so the C instruments (guitars and such) would be playing in G.
This is a "Combo-Orks book for small dance bands, published early 50s, and is probably something of a "swing band" arrangement.
If I've transposed right, the guitar part in C would be:
G |G Edim |
Give me a kiss to build a |dream on and my i-magi-|
D7 Ddim |D7 Ddim |
nation will thrive upon your |kiss |
D7 Ddim |D7 Am7 D7 |
Give me what You alone can|Give, a Kiss to build a |
G |
dream on |
Unfortunately, I don't remember enough of the rest of the lyrics to make much sense of the rest of it. Maybe this will be enough to get you started?
