I've been tinkering around with the Tab to Dougie MacLean's "Caledonia" this past weekend and pulling it off reasonably well, but for the calcifying fingertips. I'm fairly familiar with DADGAD, Open "D", and Open "G", and have been able to put ballads into those tunings with the approximate "minors" where they should be. This is my first attempt at Open C and I'm not sure how to locate the appropriate minors. I'm not into just barring all the strings five or seven frets up to get the other chords I need. I'm looking for the voicings available in the first three frets. I have the "F" as 020201 and the "G" as 002023, which may not be completely accurate, but close. I stumbled around with the tuning a bit and I believe I'd found Dougie's "Bonnie Bessie Logan" with the capo off, as well as the Corries' "Jock O'Hazeldean". Its abit of trial and error using all majors. Could some one suggest the relative minor(s) in the open "C" tuning? I suppose I'm looking for the Aminor, Dminor and Eminor.Cheers,
John
