Just got home.Tons of unpacking to do.
As usual, I stayed up way too late every night,singing around the campfire.
And let's face it,it wouldn't be the Philly Folk Fest without some kind of rainstorm! I knew we'd break that 8 week drought record!

Got the chance to meet Mudcatter Sharon A. on Sunday & spent the afternoon listening to the Flatlanders & Marty (this is folk?)Stuart. Hope your cold is better Sharon.It was a pleasure meeting you.

Highlights for me, Guitar player extraordinaire Tommy Emmanuel,19 year old bluesman David Jacobs-Strain,John Lily,Don Edwards,the Tuva throat singers,ya gotta see'em to believe it!,The Dave Carter tribute was truly a moving experience, Roger McGuinn,The Greenbriar Boys,Lunasa,Shamekia Copeland(her daddy Jonny Clyde would be proud),The Flatlanders(Jimmie Dale Gilmore,Joe Ely,Butch Hancock),Robin & Linda Williams,The Nashville Bluegrass Band. & Richard Thompson singing 52 Vincent Black Lightning.

What can I say?
Mud,Music,& Funnelcake...Life don't get no better'n that.
