One to one translation of any language to another is impossible without abandoning all meter and rhyme. I should not have said "correct"- it can be correct only in that it doesn't trash the meaning of the original and is poetically acceptable in the language of the translation. Having translated a book from German to English (no poetry, thankfully) I know how hard it is to take a phrase in one language and find one in the other that expresses the idea satisfactorily.
