Bored witless while waiting for something to go wrong so I could fix it the other day the only thing I could find to read was an HP printer manual. Sad or what? Anyhow. It did provide me with hours of fun because the page it fell open at was titled "Accordian jam in the fuser". I imagined all sorts of things and was even more amazed to find that you had to take the pronter apart to solve the problem!
This seems to be a regular occurence in Laserjet 5 and 6 printers as it has a whole section to itself. I wonder why it is just an accordian jam? Why do they not allow strings or flutes to jam along with them? Would they let me join in with my concertina?
Makes you wonder doesn't it...;-)
By the way - Things never did go wrong. What a waste of 12 hours. Apart from the accordians of course.
