Rick, I'm gonna have to give you credit for something else. Not just for your shining example, not for your guitar advice but the fact that whenever I want to fidget, I grab the guitar. I have improved SO much since last Thu I can't believe it. (Of course no one else would notice it, but I do.) I still have way too much fidget time - I actually cleaned the shower and toilet yesterday. I may go on a quest for the Holy Gra perfect thumbpick today - or buy some stuff and see if I can invent it.
