Dateless, you're not alone; the endless time-honored battle between Mars and Venus is still in full fury, spilling the blood of countless innocent hearts all across our sorry planet. You grab any four people off the street and three of them will be in or just out of a damn heartbreak of frustration trying to wig-wag a message across to the opposite sex. (Why DO they call sexes opposite, anyway? Aren't they supposed to be on the same side???)

If we really wanted to end war, we should figure out a reliable decoder ring for all these tongue-tied men and women who are so smart and able and frozen at the stick to the point of not communicating worth a damn. SOmething that can parse obscure gestures, translate hearts and see through obsessive reluctance. Wotta concept!!

That would really put a new look on the international situation!! Just imagine -- real communiucation between men and women!! Holy Moly!! Revolutionary!!
