I finally located a copy of A. G. Evans' biography of the amazing Charles Yelverton O'Connor : UWA Press edition, 2001 ~ "C. Y. O'Connor : His Life and Legacy".

After reading this book, I was left with an impotent rage against the bastards in both the West Australian Parliament and the Media (particularly "The Sunday Times") at the turn of the (previous) century, whose deliberate lies and slander caused this good and brilliant man to take his own life ,in 1902 ...

And then I wonder, how much have things really changed. Who was it who said : "The more things change, the more they stay the same ..."???!!!
