Posting to my recent thread "Kalgoorlie Pipeline", reminded me that I'd asked about WABO songs in it - like the one where the chorus went :"Keep them logs rollin' boys
Down to the mill, my boys Keep them logs a'rolling down And we'll push the cross-cuts through and we'll show what we can do And we'll pave all the streets of London Town" Or something like that!
(I think that was a reference to the forests of West Australian Jarrah ("Swan River Mahogany") being cut down and then used for paving the streets in the faraway Motherland!! Though some would suggest that that was a far worthier use than the modern woodchips to Japan thing ...) Anyway, can anyone post the whole song?? (And any others of WABO's??) + DID they do the one about the Southern Cross Windmills??? (Can anyone post that?)
Cheers! R-J
