I know a few people doing Donovan, but a friend of mine has written a song about Donovan being on a Scotish New Year TV programme, somewhat the worse for wear and trying his luck with the female presenter. The chorus goes " was a bad career move Donovan, should have died in '68. If only you'd expired back then we'd still think you're great"

It might sound strong but he's a big Donovan fan and laments the lack of such good songs since his heyday.
