Someone made the comment about not "dumbing down the music," getting them out of the "comfort zone of nursery school," and into "MUSIC." Many of us have no musical training, are self-educated, play by ear, etc. How do you go from intertaining, interesting folk music in its' historical context to "MUSIC." I'm not being sarcastic, but I don't have the background to do that. Any ideas or resources?
