Kate and Steve from Artichoke Music got back to me and confirmed that their gig at the Mothership is in an alternative universe to Portland West, and I get this vision of them climbing up this long rope ladder to some hovering interstellar folk opera house.
Jonathan Lay of Shanghaied finally resurfaced to tell me that he and his other gang Spinacker are performing at the Elephant and Castle pub on Friday 9/20 from 7 to 11. Sigh, wonder where that is?
