To find an old thread go to the box marked FILTER, type in the word PHOTO, select (in this case 3 days) and click on "REFRESH". It will then give you a list of threads with the word photo in them that have been posted to in the last 3 days. If you are seeking something and three days doesn't produce any results, then you may always increase the number of days. To save you trouble, I will attempt one of the "Blue Clicky Thingies" here.
