Alan I usually go down midweek but being an MC there I get a caravan, sounds posh I know but it's only a beat up old tourer. The site is usually open, the bar and the Moor & Coast lads are always there. There doesn't tend to be early sessions although I've sometimes been booked at a local pub the night before. Best pub for anything like that is the Rose and Lion they'll be game for a bit of 'craic'. However this year I can't really go down mid week as I'm changing jobs and there's a extra weeks gap between pay days so I'm pink lint. I will be there on Friday. Give the organisers a ring about camping early. Mr Happy there is another site for camping just up from the festival site but you'll find it difficult getting onto the site without a ticket.
