I can't believe there has only been a passing mention of this superb CD in the forum.James Patterson, Ralph (some would say Ralphie) Jordan and have recorded a splendid collection of tracks - some traditional, but all in a traditional vein. It's difficult to single out a favourite, but The Captain's Apprentice is disturbing enough to appeal to me, Ewan McColl's The Father's Song has surely never been sung better and Flanders and Swann's Slow Train is a welcome inclusion.
