My cat Phluphi likes to hear my wife sing. The Mrs. has a very nice soprano voice.

One the other side, the cat will run and hide under the bed at the very sight of me getting the fife out to play. The fiddle the cat has learned to ignore. But as for me singing, if I sing something softly and acapella, Phluphi does the head butting thing and purrs.
