Great festival. Sang shanties for the Shellback Chorus and danced for the Shakespeare Morris Men (on Saturday afternoon). Weather was good but it did get cold in the evenings - brrrr! Your 6 foot 2 inch hotwater bottle must have worked, Ali.

Had a smashing singaround at the Moor and Coast tent on Sunday night after the final concert - at about 12 midnight to 2 am. I thought that Sheffield City Morris were very good in town and the Black Swan(?) Rapper were brilliant on the stage - very mystical, with luminous-painted swords and special lighting!

Disappointed with Cara Dillon as the final act. Although she has a beautiful voice, it was rather downbeat compared with the upbeat finish of the Mrs Ackroyd Band, which were on before her.

Great to see a lot of Mudcatters too - too many to mention. Enjoyed the lemonade, Sally.
