I've been televisionless for over ten years. I have never seen television footage of The World Trade Center falling down. I don't understand half of the conversations I overhear because they're talking about TV. When I'm in the grocery checkout lane I don't recognize any of the faces on TV Guide. I'm so ignorant about pop culture that I wouldn't know a Britney Spears song if it bit me on the ass.

All in all, it makes me so happy I could just shit. You can get free of the tube and reclaim your time. It doesn't have to belong to the marketers.
