my brother goes backpacking a lot in wild places.he endeavours to carry lightweight survival items, such as tent, sleeping bag etc.

after he's finished with trekking for the day, in the evening he'll watch his pocket tv & have a few scoops of strong drink.

even though he uses a plastic container to transport it in,the alcohol is one of the weightier items he has to carry.he's got around part of the solution to this weightiness by having the most concentrated form he can get. in uk this is rum that's 67%, which he then dilutes with water.

as a daytime thirst-quencher, he carries powdered orange juice & adds water.

he would be delighted if alcohol could be obtained in dehydrated form - just add water.

does anyone know if this is a possibility & where it could be obtained?
