There is a new folk session at 2PM on Sunday at The Tap & Spile, Spring Bank, Hull.
Following an idea by ossonflags 9Mick from Punch The Horse), I have spoken to teresa from the Tap & Spile, and we have arranged a session for the 4th sunday of the month.I was speaking to Mick about this a few days ago, and we decided that the format will be loosely based on The Nellies Session, and ALL singers and musicians of ALL abilities will be welcome, it will be very informal, so if you want to sing/play a tune then do so.
The Tap & Spile is a well established folk music venue, with live folk/ blues acts on Monday nights, a music session on Tuesday nights and a session/ singaround on Sunday nights. there is a good range of real ales available and 2 no smoking rooms.
