Thread Name: Help: Old thread? - Writing of Tipperary(Caddick)
Subject: RE: Help: Old thread? - Writing of Tipperary
From my correspondence with his great nephew(?):

==========================

I didn't know that any songs ABOUT Jack Judge existed. Jack Judge (christened John) had a sister (Ann Marie) who married Sam Stanley, their son Jim was my grandfather. There aren't many of the older generation Stanley's left alive, but I know that my aunt's will be thrilled to hear of both of these tracks. If you should come across anything else linked to "Tipperary" that you think is unusual, please let me know. I have only just been given a book for my birthday last week "Jack Judge the Tipperary man" which is a biography by Verna Hale Gibbons and charts the life and times of the Judge family from the mid 1800's. A very different world ! Anyway, take care, and thanks again. Regards Keith
