I hated the thought of it (it was in June) but actually had a great time. I went to Greece and had a great time and when I got back had a party for friends and family.

I did have to practice saying it for a while...'I'm fifty', 'Yeah, I'm fifty you know', 'Fifty....', 'Just fifty', which meant that Helen thought I'd taken leave of my senses, but I'm almost back to normal now.

I'm just waiting for the first git to tell me I'm good for my age.....!
