How about Bill Staines - Roseville Fair? Like Mary in Kentucky says, it's from the viewpoint of an older person, but it makes a great break.

Oh!!!There is a song. REALLY old. It's called Somebody's Waiting For You. Written by Vincent BRyan from the early 1900s.

A number of people have brought it back now and again. I know it from the singing of Cape Bretoner Charlie MacKinnon. Lovely song.
