Updates to the above(I went to Lightnin' Willie last night, great show): 17th Oct is Connie Lush and Blues Shouter; 14th Nov is Paul Cox Band. Also on Saturday 9th Nov Richie Milton and the Lowdown [Richie is a great young blues harp player and step dancer with a great band] Saturday 30th Nov King Earl Boogie Band "ex-Mungo Jerry men playing blues, jug and R &B". I'll miss Bob Hokum as I'll be at Camberley listening to the (Paul Jones) Blues Band and I'll give the Foundations a miss as my flares don't fit any more. For jazz fans the great girl singer Lee Gibson is on twice: 23rd Oct and 27th Nov, the very talented (and large!) Trinity College of Music Big Band are on on 30th Oct, and the all-girl Farnborough Hill School Swing Band, on the 13th Nov, got rave reviews last time (and I hear their music is pretty good, too).I shall also be going to South Hill Park Barcknell on 14th Dec to see Sonny Black and the Dukes, a Jagz regular. For Folkies, the Fureys are at Windsor Theatre on 24th Nov and we'll be going to that too.) RtS
