Hi Mr Happy. Sort of.It wasn't my intention to highjack the sing around. I organized a session on a Monday night at the Angler because no singing had gone on for some time, and guess what, the word got around, and the regulars started attending again;C'est la vie.
Hi guest a player. I'm inclined to agree with you. Some of my freinds who used to attend "Folk Clubs" regularly stopped going in the late 80's due to bad experiences at certain venues that shall remain nameless. I think some people that got involved in folk music at that time thought it was their "precious things" and only intended for "Locals". I think things are a lot better now, but we have to keep are guard up against being ghettoised. All the best PP.
