Taliesin - I agree that live performances can often be great, even if you don't usually like the style of music much. That doesn't mean I want to buy the record, and it CERTAINLY doesn't mean I want to be persecuted by the same damn songs every time I'm in the grocery or the restaurant...but I am...the same songs again, and again, and again! It's enough to make a houndog roll over and die.

Kaleea - Yes the Carpenters, the dreaded Carpenters, the masters of middle-of-the-road mush. (I'm sure they meant well, though...) I read once that they sold more albums than Bob Dylan. That is rather sad.
