Ahem, since it's a 'jennifer' asking our advice here -- instead of looking for a Swiss Army knife, jenn, why don't you use a nail file? I don't know if you're a guitar player or not, but I always have a nail file handy, just in case I need to do some emergency reshaping when I sit down to play.

And, depending on whether you think you'll be wanting to look at the sleeve notes quite a lot, I agree that you should photocopy them, and put them in a special place. That way, you never have to bother with the bugger more than a couple of times.
