Maybe I'm just a hard-core traditionalist, but I can't imagine a better festival than Whitby Week. This year, there was over 1000 hours of music scheduled, featuring the likes of Brian Peters, Gordeanna McCulloch, Bob Blair, Heather Heywood, Gordon Tyrall, Aileen Carr, Graham Pirt, Roisin White, John Kirkpatrick, Alistair Anderson, Peta Webb....the whole list takes up a full page. Plus there's another 1000 hours of non-scheduled music in the pubs.   Staggering!
