Time for an update, is it not. Beautiful weather today, following a really storm a couple of nights ago. So weather could be anything at all really, but I am hoping for sunniness. Just bring lots of warm bedding and fuzzy clothes for evening because it can get chilly, and we will have pioneer type heat. But I plan to make a whole bunch of oatmeal chocolate chip cookies to keep the oven going a lot of the time. That should add to the heat. And just think how nice your overheated office in Portland or Mossyrock or Shoreline will feel on Monday.

I am absolutely thrilled with the people who are coming...you couldn't ask for a nicer mix of people or voices.

Oh forget what I said about not having to pay until the camp. I was delusional. I want you to pay right now so I can go buy a bunch of food. I'm counting on some good fresh salmon for a dinner Saturday night, and there is the possibility of some Thai food at one of the lunches. Otherwise, pretty standard music camp food (lots and lots of oatmeal and lentils will be on hand..) We'll get creative. Oysters are purchasable nearby, and I think there is public oystering very close too but I am not sure. We were supposed to have a clam weekend on the 7th but that has been cancelled..who knows, could be one during camp. I hope to pick some cranberries and blueberries this weekend.

It will be a very small camp this first year, and less structured than most. Next year we will have much higher attendance (and will max out the place very quickly I fear). I expect from 15-20 people this first year, plus a few more daytrippers. That is a great number for cooking, cleaning, etc....and I love singing with smaller groups of people...trust me, you will like this group of singers...and if you are new to these camps, this is a good one to get started on because it will be one of the smaller ones this year....

So thanks to those who have sent in their money, and if you haven't and can, please do, and if you want to attend but can't pay until camp let me know.
