The Hamburg Bird-ler?

My eyes have seen the coming of the strangest peeping tom
He was trampling down my gardens, and a-digging up my lawn
He tapped upon the window pane, then disappeared at dawn
I hope that he stays gone!

Was it a bird? ( I have my doubts) or a naked man about?
I'm gonna call the cops!

They say it was an emu, and that I am seeing things
I can tell a naked chest from a feathered pair of wings!
