Try encoding in ogg... it's a similar technology to mp3, can be played in winamp with the plugin, and hasn't been so pirated that hosts fear THEY'LL be liable even if it's your own music!

Or, you can write to the host and explain that it is your own music, you own the copyright, and you give yourself permission to post your own original music as mp3s on your own site.
