Hi Hamish! Yes, Baldock was really weird what with the funfair banging away outside - still, we made a good sound between us! Haven't been there before, but it's a good-looking venue, maybe next time I go I'll see what the acoustics are like. Can't believe they didn't have any Port though!!!
Breezy, beer festival at the Lytton Arms in Knebworth is tonight but I'm coming to the Blue Anchor & may bring next-door neighbour aswell as William Guest & party. Do they have Port behind the bar? Last night was excellent at the Comfort Inn with Cyril Tawney - a really good start to the season! Who am I missing next week while I'm on my Hols?
Willy, who's this strange person offering free Beer at Barton? It's not me, or Mr Whale or the landlords. Let's get this straight - there is no free Beer - they used to do some Chips for us when we started but that seems to have fizzled out. Maybe Mr Whale could get them frying for us again, but we'll need to purchase drinks at the bar as normal. Sounds like good fun at the Sportsman, Croxley Green & I see you've got your name in the Unicorn - fame at last eh? There'll be no stopping you now!!!!
IanC, I can't believe it - your session at the Bushel & Strike in Ashwell (1st in month?) always seems to land on a Barton night. It looks like it'll be at least 18 months following this pattern before I can get to your session again. Maybe I'll skip our one soon so that I can get to yours - it's a good night at your one - I recommend it :-)
