Consider: gravity itself is a very weak force. You have to be the size of a planet to have any notable amount of it. The tides are a subset of gravity, which only occur due to a lack of resistance from any other force--the moon after all has a whole planetary ocean to work on.

People are a lot smaller than oceans. I don't think people are tidal.
