Amos: So, If the defining part of the equation is the relationship to distance (which I did include in my earler post) then the effect of the Moon's gravity causing the height of tides by affecting the waters of the Earth should be as nothing compared to the effect of the Earth's gravity which ensures water always tries to find its own level, Right ?
