I am fatigued and desirous of recuperative restoration
I indulged in a small beverage approximately sixty minutes ago
And it's directly entered my cranium/the place that keeps my ears apart
Irrespective of the whereabouts of my perambulations
Over land or sea or effervescent border
You will constantly detect me crooning this melody
Indicate the direction of my abode

As a kid, travelling by car (usually home from grandparents)we used to sing the original version, taught by my father. I'll have to ask him where he learned it.
