4. favourite authors/ type of book? non-fiction, Japanese crafts, other crafts & needleworks, archaeology, history, local history,

5. what books have you really been wanting? If anyone lives in polar
bear land or in black/brown/etc bear land, a book with pictures of these bears.

6. what type of music do you like? traditional Anglo-celtic folk,
singer/songwriters, shanties & unaccompanied singing & chorus songs, Stephane Graphelli/Djanjo Reinhart, some classical, some new age, 20s & 30s & 40s nostalgia,

7. what cds have you really been wanting? I am a compulsive buyer of
commercial & local artist's CDs. Overseas Mudcatter's CDs are almost
beyond acquisition cos of exchange rates & bank charges (but I am
swapping something local with Charley Noble!)

8. What movies (vhs is in the price range) have you been wanting? -
don't own a TV, never go to the movies,

9. what is your t-shirt size? don't normally wear t-shirts, except
long-sleeved black ones in winter.

10. do you collect anything? if so, what? (small stuff - I have space
problems), BEARS!!, penguins, bear or penguin brooches, old
needlework/craft stuff, small Japanese things,

11. what are some of your other hobbies? making teddy bears, embroidery & crafts, jigsaws (but I have far too many), covering my wall with pictures of polar bears & brown/black etc bears, taking photos of concerts & festivals,

12. do you prefer gold-tone or silver-tone jewelry? both, but I have
more silver colored stuff & far too many pendants, brooches & ear-rings. I love amber

13. please include anything else you feel is important that would help
your secret santa know what you would like. Small is beautiful, my
place is full of stuff - which is how I like it.

negative hints - I don't have a sweet tooth. I'm not into music that's experimental/electronic/C&W/over-amplified/
