I've given up using my old abc conversion programs; most are now obsolete, as the standard for abc has been expanded a lot in the last few years. The online conversion routines are much more sophisticated and reliable. The staff output at Jon's site is exactly as given in the book it was transcribed from, except that I've omitted an unnecessary double bar line at the end of the first strain.
