Well, there's another S.S. Stewart Special Thoroughbred just listed on eBay which looks quite good, well worth a look. I have a similar model and it has a fine mellow old-time sound and is robust enough for steel strings. Looks like this one had had some wear and tear but the seller has posted some excellent images. I would expect this one to go for $1500 but you might get it for less if you're lucky. I'm fishing for the reserve price right now but I'm not planning on bidding more than $750.
