You can try a "Finger" utility, kat, but the chances are there won't be a result with a mass supplier like earthlink. So the ISP is probably as close as you are going to get. The best path would be to report the matter to abuse@earhtlink.net (or similar address that came up on your WhoIs result) and advise the ISP of the criminal activity being conducted through their server. At least it will get his account canceled and put a scare into him. The other hting you can do is notify the Fraud Detection unit of your nearest city police. Dunno how far that'll go though.
