What ever happened to Bucky Beaver (of Ipana toothpaste fame)?

Oh, and back to Mad Magazine -- there was a wonderful image (c. 1963) of Crest's "Invisible Shield" falling on the actor (I should know who it was) who knocked on it to show it was there, protecting teeth.

And (more Mad Magazine) neon signs with letters missing: "You Can [be] Su[r]e If It's Westinghouse" (You Can Sue If It's Westinghouse)

It's been 40 years, but I can't see the advertiser without thinking of the parody.

Anyone remember the Hills Brothers Coffee TV commercial where the spoon says it wants to be a fork and the voice over explains how wonderful it is to be a spoon and stir Hills Brothers Coffee? I think it was around 1958 or 1959. That year for Hallowe'en, I went trick or treating as a fork. (Made my own costume, of course.)
