I haven't heard a thing on the news about this, but my neice just had her first experience of going through an earthquake, night before last. She and her family just moved to the air base there. She woke up about 330a and felt the whole house moving and shaking. Apparently the military is very strict about their buildings being able to "go with the flow" so to speak, so nothing was damaged.

According to local radio reports it was 6.3 on the Richter Scale and was one of about 40 earthquakes of that one night, centered about 60 miles away in the Denali State Park!

Has anyone seen any news reports on this? I think all of our Alaska Mudcatters are a lot farther south and didn't feel this one.
