I spent the afternoon in my canoe on the St. Joseph River. Heading South towards Indiana, from just above the Niles (MI.) dam; I ventured upstream a couple of miles. The weather was overcast and in the low "40's", in other words, ideal. No jet-skis, no bass-boats, no bull-shit. Canoes are the moral equivalent of violas, ya with me?
