1. Every seventeen hours somewhere in the world
   The doors are flung wide open, the banners are unfurled
   The table tops are gleaming, the crew is standing by
   With uniforms all freshly pressed and a twinkle in their eye

   From Melbourne to Chicago the menu is the same
   In Auckland it's a Berg Mic, Le Big in gay Paree
   Makadonalda-san in Tokyo but it's hamburger to me

      It's wonderful to travel, to see a place or two
