I know various people say they've managed to open more than one browser window at the same time and both log onto chat and read threads at the same time but each time I've tried to do that the whole thing has crashed on me and either everythings locked up, I'm bounced out of mudcat or told my connection's lost and I need to log back onto the net. Now while this may be something to do with my set up either in terms of my system or the way I connect to the net and judging by the number of want to chat type threads that have been appearing I doubt if I'm the only one for whom this is so, and for us a perma thread would make sense.
